My Official 2016 Vintage Pledge

So 2016 is here and since we are now into March, it's a quarter of the way over... ack. I'm so far behind with this little blog this year. I've got some things to share with you from Christmas 2015 in a hopefully upcoming post. I would also like to share with you a few things that I've done for school this past year. I have also been working on some sewing plans for this year. I've collected tons of fabric and some new patterns, but sadly I've had very little opportunity to sit down and sew. So that all being said, I need to make my official 2016 Vintage Pledge. I'm stepping it up a notch this year, last year I pledged 5 makes and managed to get at least 10 done. I've got a room full of fabric and do not need to buy any more right now, so it's time to get through some of it.

I, Kacy Burchfield, of misskacysews.com pledge to make up 7 of my vintage or vintage reproduction patterns this year, using fabric I already have in my stash.

So there you have it, my 2016 pledge. I'll be working on a few more things for you this week, as I'm on Spring Break and while I've spent most of the week seriously purging and cleaning my house, I really hope to get some time in my studio.

Hang in there dear readers, I'll hopefully be getting something good for you up here soon.

Until next time!!

  1. Hello! Nice to hear that all is good. Things sound very busy and exciting. I am so glad that the VPP is running again this year although I haven't posted my pledge yet. 7 items, that is fab. I am really looking forward to seeing what you make. Best wishes to all. Xx

    1. Thank you darling! Things are definitely busy around here, between school and work and the kids, I'm stretched pretty thin. I'm looking forward to summer, that will be a much needed break. Only two semesters left after this one!

    1. Thank you! I can't wait to see yours also! I feel so far behind this year. Only about 7 weeks left of school for me this semester though! Then, it's SEW time!
